Hair removal works best when there is color in the hair. Dark hair responds best and white hair does not respond at all.

Most areas require 3 - 6 treatments However, the number of treatments required for optimal long term benefits depend on multiple factors - hair thickness, the area being treated and the hair's growth cycle.
When the pulse of light is delivered, some patients experience a mild pinching or stinging sensation. No local anesthesia or pain medication is typically required; however some patients prefer to use a topical anesthetic when sensitive areas are treated.
An upper lip and chin can be done in 5 - 10 minutes. Underarms and bikini lines take 15 - 20 minutes. Legs and backs take longer.
Each treatment will result in a hair growth reduction. Additionally, hair will grow back progressively slower, lighter and finer with each treatment. Most people receive satisfactory clearance after six treatments.
